Dancing Classrooms Shake Up the Ordinary at Big Pine Academy

(Big Pine Key, FL- May 1, 2015) Middle School students at Big Pine Academy ended their 20 week residency with the internationally acclaimed Dancing Classrooms program by showing off their new dance moves to family, friends and fellow students. With the help of dance instructor Sondra Esquinaldo, students learned a variety of ballroom dances, including the Tango, Waltz, Salsa, Rhumba, Meringue, Swing and the Foxtrot. Students dressed in their finest and performed their culminating event at Big Pine Academy on Wednesday, May 29th. This marks the 4th year Big Pine Academy has partnered with the Education Coalition of Monroe County to bring Ballroom Dancing to local students.
