Franklin Palm lives with his wife and two children in Big Pine Key. Both of his children attended Big Pine Academy while in elementary school. Frank has worked as a project manager and regional representitive for large coorporations. As a member of the Big Pine Academy Board of Directors, Frank provides business and construction insight. He loves to fish and entertain family and friends.
Cassandra Scanlon is from Big Pine Key, where her favorite thing is our amazing community. Cassie works as a cooperate recruiter, and her passion lies in assisting other families in the name of her son, Max Thomas. Cassie is the founder of Max's Angels, a non-profit organization that supports mothers in our community who have lost a child.
Cassandra is eager to serve her community as a member of the Big Pine Academy Board of Directors.
Etni Prieto is the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Big Pine Key and the father of two current students at Big Pine Academy. He has experience in business organizations, academic institutions and religious entities. As a board member and a parent, Etni is dedicated to being a part of the decisions that help BPA grow and thrive.
Mr. Ryan has lived in the Florida Keys since 2011. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he served in the United States Army for many years. After retiring from the Army, Mr. Ryan became a New York Firefighter for 21 years and was present during September 11, 2001. Because of his service he received the World Trade Center Metal of Freedom and has spoken around the country regarding his time as a firefighter.
Amy Zimmerman serves as a BPA board member and has lived in the Florida Keys for five years. She graduated from Florida State University with a BA in English and for the past 16 years has worked as the Marketing Coordinator for Graef-USA Inc, where she is responsible for business development and coordinates administrative services for her branch and the corporate headquarters. She has a son Porter, who attends Big Pine Academy, and keeping an active lifestyle in her off time.
